Among other medical facilities in Prague and its surroundings, on November 13 they also visited the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun, where a group of Kazakh women medics had already visited in May this year. Five students and one student from far Central Asia toured the entire hospital grounds, including a beautiful park, where they were impressed by the area for practicing common movement skills, especially for patients from the Rehabilitation Centre. On the address of the hospital and its owner ing. Sotirios Zavalianis, the hospital and its owner were full of words of admiration for its equipment, its setting in a beautiful environment and the modern care it provides. They were able to assess the facilities of the hospital's rooms, which they likened to those of a modern hotel, at the Arthroscopy Centre, where everyone took a keen interest in the range of procedures as well as the solutions to arthroscopic operations. Most of the time was then devoted to the Rehabilitation Centre, where the students and their colleague toured the hydrotherapy complex, the occupational therapy area, the wards and some of the outpatient clinics, which were just being completed. They were impressed by the state-of-the-art David exercise machines and a number of other devices and aids used for rehabilitation, as well as by the visit to the kinesiology laboratory, where they were attended by PhDr. Helena Božková, PhD. It was also fun. One of the attendees tried out a basic kinesiological examination on the TecnoBody device, while the others watched her closely and the representatives of the hospital and the entourage present tried to answer all their inquisitive questions in a mixture of Russian and English, concerning the possibilities of using the device in the patient's diagnosis as well as in further treatment. As well as other questions concerning the recent transformation of the Beroun hospital into a top-quality, patient-oriented medical facility. At the end, everyone agreed that it had been a very enjoyable morning for both parties.
