I must not forget the entire medical staff of the E3 department, with whom I had the opportunity to meet on a daily basis. These are nurses, auxiliary medical staff, rehabilitation department of this floor - especially physiotherapist Mrs. Jana Preislerová, DiS. To all of them I also owe my great thanks.
The same goes for all the staff of the hydrotherapy, especially Mrs. Z. Levova and her son Kuba - for their wonderful human approach to patients. Exercises in the gym or in the pool under the guidance of physiotherapist Jan Kebrle were conducted on a high professional level in all aspects and always brought the expected result, as well as the highly professional work of the masseur Mr. Čap, after whose massages I always felt immense relief from pain and a feeling of perfect relaxation.

We would like to thank you for taking care of our father Mr. V. M.
For more than a year, with your help, we took care of his leg wounds caused by severe diabetes. Thanks to this, he spent this time at home with his wife, surrounded by his family and his beloved garden.
A month and a half ago, when he accidentally broke his leg at the neck and then was hospitalized at the Beroun Hospital, it was obvious that the defects on his legs had progressed to the point where it was no longer possible to reverse the condition. Once again you were there to help with transfers and invaluable human support at the most difficult time, when Dad was dying.

I take the liberty of sending you a few brief lines regarding the treatment I received in the emergency room of your hospital, which I was forced to visit on Saturday 23/3/2024 accompanied by my wife. My diagnosis is not important. What I consider important is the reception and care I received at your hospital. Dr. Lukas Grulich and the nurse, whose name I unfortunately do not know, were truly professional, caring, helpful and empathetic. When my wife and I left, we both stated that we have never encountered this kind of attitude anywhere in healthcare before, let alone in the emergency room. Well, when Dr. Grulich called me today to make sure I was doing well and that everything was okay, I couldn't help but write to you.

Furthermore, my great thanks go to the doctors of the E1 department, MUDr. A. Bouše, MUDr. V. Bernášková and the doctors of the E2 department, MUDr. M. Douš and MUDr. K. Metyš.
I must not forget the entire medical staff of Ward E1, with whom I had the opportunity to meet on a daily basis. In particular, nurses, auxiliary medical staff, rehabilitation department of this floor under the leadership of rehabilitation nurse Mrs. Danuska and physiotherapist Bc. L. Hanzlova, who also deserve my great thanks.
The same applies to the rehabilitation nurse from the 0th floor serving the swimming pool, Mrs. Z. Levova - her amazing human approach to patients, her son Kuba - a temporary worker in the rehabilitation department on the 0th floor and rehabilitation nurse Luka, also on the 0th floor.
Last but not least, I would like to highlight the professional work of the masseur Mr. Čap, after whose massages I always felt immense relief.

I would like to express my admiration for the way you are managing and developing the hospitals in Hořovice and Beroun.
Last week I had a rather complicated hernia operation in Hořovice. All the care was of an excellent standard. I would like to thank the chief physician, MUDr. Zeithaml, and his team for the excellent care.
The evening after the operation I had a small collapse and within 1 minute of ringing the bell a qualified nurse and doctor were with me. I have experience with top clinics in Prague, but your facility far exceeds these clinics in patient care. Everything worked flawlessly.
In this context, I wonder why you are doing well and others are having problems ?

The original plan was to have a 14-day rehab after a total knee replacement.
After familiarizing myself with the activities of the department in Building E, I immediately requested an extension for another week.
I did not regret a minute of it.
Excellent doctors. Top physiotherapists. Helpful and kind nurses and other staff. Clean and comfortable environment including great facilities. Beautiful park.
What I must not forget is the very tasty and varied food.
You are true professionals, a team that cares about a happy patient!

Dear Headmistress,
I was hospitalized at RNB on December 5 - 9, 2023 following shoulder surgery. On the second day after the surgery, already in the rehabilitation pavilion E, I had a sudden collapse of loss of consciousness, on the basis of which, I was sent by the attending physician MUDr. Gabriela Chytrova to the hospital Hořovice for control, etc. etc. Here, fortunately, nothing major was proved and I was returned to the RNB for further treatment.
After my arrival from Hořovice Hospital, the doctor took great care of me, constantly monitoring my health condition, and in my opinion, even beyond their normal duties. In other words, I would like to thank her for her service and approach, through you, and wish her and the whole team of nurses all the best.

Let me inform you of my complete satisfaction with the conduct and attitude of the doctors on duty on 10.11.t.r. from 12.30 - 20.00 hrs. Above all, I would like to highlight the lightning-fast and professional behaviour of the nurse, who was apparently on night duty, when I was waiting to be taken away by my family after my discharge at about 18.00. At that time, I had a lump on my right wrist under the SKG injection. I knew from the NNAH that the nurses kept a close watch on this in all patients. Therefore, I banged somewhat loudly on the door, which was opened by a nurse. When she saw my wrist, she promptly put on a compression bracelet, thus averting possible arterial bleeding and other complications. For that, I am very grateful to the nurse on duty. She also advised me to ice the injection site at home.
After this experience, I still look at my right arm as a parade the next day and all is well.

I would like to commend Mr. Jirav at the front desk where the rehabs are. I was not satisfied with the times of the rehabs. Mr. Jirava adjusted the times of rehabs to suit me because I am referred to public transportation. Mr Jirava is very kind, patient, has an analytical mind, can handle a phone call at the same time as administrative work and still advises colleagues. He is a man in the right place. Under the leadership of this Madam Primary you have this rehabilitation department in the best hands. I would like to thank the staff of Beroun Hospital for their professional and humane approach in treating my daughter L.H. on Wednesday 31 May 2023.
My three year old daughter needed her arm treated after a fall on a daycare outing and as a frightened three year old, she was predictably tearful and uncooperative. Of course, this situation was stressful for me as well, because although I am a paramedic myself, in this situation I am "only" the parent of a terrified child. Anyway, my daughter and I were met with a really great attitude, literally from the front desk, to the staff we met in the hallways, to the assistants in radiology, to the team that cared for us in the surgical outpatient clinic.
I really appreciate my medical colleagues who, despite their heavy workload, behave not only professionally but also humanly kind. And I ask you if they could at least receive this written thanks and appreciation for their work. I especially appreciate the absolute involvement of my person in my child's treatment, the zero attempts to separate my daughter from me, and the kind communication directly with my daughter.
My daughter was treated on May 31 before noon by the attending physician at the chir. Milan Píša, MD. Unfortunately, I do not know the names of the nurses, orderlies and radiology assistants, but I thank them for their care and kind words.

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the wonderful care of the entire rehabilitation department. I was hospitalized in building I on the 3rd floor. All the nurses and nursing staff were very kind and helpful, always making sure I really didn't need anything else before leaving the room. I really felt wonderful my whole stay and it was important for me to feel that whatever happened, I had someone to turn to. Dr. Eliška Bečková always came with a smile and helped me a lot, she took my unpleasant leg tingling problems seriously and put me on treatments and medication that made me feel very relieved. All the therapists were also very kind and were always able to help and advise, the exercises were of great benefit to me.
Thank you and if possible I would be happy to return to the ward for some rehabilitation.

Dear Director. After the operation of total endoprosthesis, which was performed in Hořovice Hospital by the primary doctor Mudr Pastucha, I was transferred from the hospital directly to you in RNB. Although the reservation was made on the day when the operation was proposed to me, everything that was agreed was fulfilled on time. Approximately three months apart.
Before the surgery I was worried about how long the rehabilitation would take and what all I would be facing. I was admitted to ward D2 where I was assigned a physiotherapist called Kamila. This nurse has yet to be certified, but the rehabilitation performance was more than top notch ! Fourteen days after the operation I was walking painlessly without any major problems. FB, but I walked. She got me in such a state that 3 weeks after the surgery I sat behind the wheel of a car and managed the drive without any problems. Even while being transported to my place of residence, I managed this journey in a sitting position. ¨Golden hands.¨!!
At the same time I would like to thank all the perzonals. Starting with the assistant, from whom we had clean rooms, corridors like a mirror, a continuous supply of necessary drinks. The golden nurses who did their best for us in their care. They toiled daily putting on compression stockings, and what a chore it was, 24 hours a day they not only served us, but helped with anything we needed.
Huge thanks to MUDr Brabcova, who visited us twice a day in our rooms and was interested in our health condition. If something needed to be changed, she changed it immediately without delay. The visits to the room by the matron were not just a simple visit, but with a genuine interest in our state of health. No one could be left out. Nothing was done unnecessarily all the time, everything had a purpose.
My unfortunately deceased father would have been more than proud of such a team of staff as the head of the infectious diseases department, and I thank you and all those who participated in my treatment. A huge thank you for my smooth return to a normal life at the age of 69.

My name is J. K. At the end of November and the beginning of December I was hospitalized at your Rehabilitation Center. The reason for my decision to subsequently use specific services (rehabilitation procedures) provided by RNB was the left knee surgery (TEP), perfectly performed by Mr. Jan Kotaska, M.D. at the Motol Hospital.
When I look back on my rehabilitation stay today, a week after leaving RNB, I remember with great appreciation and gratitude the wonderful environment and the dedication and professional attitude of all the staff I came into contact with. In particular, I remember with great appreciation the attending physician MUDr. Dvořák, and the excellent physiotherapists, especially the high expertise of Mrs. Jana Preislerová. I am not forgetting the impeccable care of the nursing teams, and others.
From my point of view, these all undoubtedly contributed significantly to my surprisingly fast improvement of the mobility of my left leg! Therefore, on the ninth day of my stay, I was able to try/start exercising on the exercise bike! Today, I "ride" the exercise bike at home 4 km 4 times a day without violence. The French sticks are already getting in my way. This is a unique result! I believe that together with other learned rehabilitation exercises all unpleasant postoperative limitations will disappear very soon.
For all of this, to you, Mrs. Headmistress, and to your wonderful team, I owe a big thank you and appreciation! I wish everyone especially good health and well-deserved joy and satisfaction in their work.

Dear Director, please accept my thanks for providing me with a single room at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun, where I was hospitalized and rehabilitated after hip surgery (TEP). Throughout my stay I was extremely satisfied with the care of the doctors and other medical staff, both in Hall D (1st floor) and after moving to Hall I (3rd floor). The nursing staff took exemplary care of us patients and I was met with high professionalism and expertise every day. I also encountered the kind attitude of the therapists regularly in the gyms. Dear Chief Medical Officer, A few days ago, I completed a three-week hospitalization at your facility with a diagnosis of frozen shoulder, following arthroscopy. I entered painful, but with the hope that perhaps somewhere would finally help me and take an interest in my recovery. The attitude of all of you at your center even exceeded my expectations. I have never encountered such great care, human touch, sensitivity and overall almost home-like environment in a hospital. I can say without exaggeration that I did not want to leave the hospital this time. Hello, I would like to commend the 2 radiology assistants who approached amazing empathetic, accommodating through my son N's needs. V. who has a fear of doctors . My son needed to have an MRI scan which he was panicking about. And thanks to the RA, my son did not have to be anesthetized and the exam went well thanks to these two , dare I say " angels" and my son did not have trauma like he had from previous workplaces in other hospitals. So my big thanks to them. Unfortunately I didn't write down the names, but I'm sure there will be a possibility to trace them in the system. At least in this way I want to say a big thank you.

Dear Director, I would like to write to you about the professional care provided in your facility. I have been to you four times and I have always been satisfied. I started coming to you after the lumbar patella surgery at Prof. Štulík in Motol. Last year I started having problems and was on brufen etc. for a year. Now the prof decided on a radical solution to operate, with the understanding that I would undergo preoperative rehabilitation. The clear choice is Beroun. I went to the E 2 floor to the head doctor MUDr. Milena Kolářová and I thank her and oš. doctor Martin Douša to whom I give a huge compliment. Under his guidance, I got myself together both physically and mentally and in October I am going to have a patella reoperation. I really appreciate how the doctor has put together a list of procedures for me and his approach is really professional. I would like to share with you my experience and feelings about your hospital. My compliments and big thanks are specifically related to the orthopedics department where I had my knee surgery on Tuesday 23.08.2022. My thanks and high praise go to all the staff in this department and I really mean everyone - the doctors and anaesthetists starting and the nurses ending. Actually, my thanks belong especially to them - the nurses. From the very first contact with them I had the feeling that I was on holiday somewhere and not in a hospital. Kind and pleasant behaviour, helpfulness, smile and care. What I must not forget to mention is the human approach, the smile on the face and above all the preservation of human dignity of the patient! Human dignity is what one usually loses in a hospital, but that was not the case here. Not once was my naked body exposed to the eyes of orderlies or other patients, not once was I left somewhere in the corridor as God created me. It may seem impossible to you, but I have indeed experienced this several times and it was not at all pleasant. This is not your case at all. The anesthesiologist, the doctor, they all briefed me on the procedure and what was going to happen to me. And now I'm back to the nurses, who were truly exceptional! They were constantly asking us if we needed anything, trying to help and accommodate us with every problem and never, ever really, did the smile leave their lips. I really wish my thanks could reach them, because they really deserve it!
While I am on the subject of praise, I cannot help but mention the level and beauty of your entire hospital. What you have managed to make of it in a really nice complex is truly admirable. The outdoor spaces, the park, the old and new buildings, it all fits together beautifully and looks very nice and welcoming. As for the indoor areas, specifically the orthopaedics department, words fail me. New, modern, clean, fragrant!
I hope that my thanks go to all the people to whom they belong, i.e. the hospital management, all the staff and nurses of the orthopaedics department and also the reception staff on the ground floor of building C, who are also a pleasure to communicate with, whether by phone or in person.
What can I say in conclusion...I am proud that my hometown has a hospital of this standard and I am glad that I had my surgery with you. You really have a lot to be proud of, the work you have built and most importantly HOW you do it.

Hello, I have been operated 2 times in your hospital. Specifically, it was a knee surgery. The first time was in June 2022 when I underwent meniscus surgery and the second time is now when it was an anterior knee ligament surgery. Both operations were performed by Mudr. Hanus Martin. With this I would like to thank first of all the doctor and of course the hospital staff - nurses from the single care unit and the rehabilitation care unit for their really perfect care and human approach to patients. Hello, on 19.8.2022 I had meniscus surgery in your hospital under the direction of Mudr. Frei. Although my stay in the hospital was not longer than half a day, I would like to thank all those who were on duty in the ward that day and contributed to the smooth running of the operation and to the fact that I did not feel like a patient but like a human being. I was able to say goodbye to the nurses on the ward in person, but I was not able to say goodbye to the doctors and nurses on the ward under anaesthesia. One does not go to the hospital out of pleasure, but out of necessity, but thanks to the attitude of your staff I will remember my stay here only in a good way. This was my first time at your hospital, so unpleasant expectations from a strange place and new hospital environment (I have commuted to the FN until now), including the considerable distance. Hello, I was in RNB today for endocrinology and would like to express my excitement about the staffing of the outpatient clinic. I'm always very happy with the doctor, but today I was even more pleasantly surprised by the precise work of the sympathetic nurse Mrs Dagmar Biskupova - honestly, I've had many blood draws in my life, but Mrs Biskupova's blood draw was completely painless, even downright unnoticeable. A very skilful nurse,who took my blood perfectly without a single hesitation, although I have great problems with this and performed other surgeries with the confidence of her skill. Dear Director, my name is O. Z. and I am an ophthalmologist. In May, I underwent a hip replacement surgery. Subsequently, I underwent rehabilitation with accommodation in your hospital. I would like to thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay, which became a wonderful experience for me. The premises of your clinic have a very upbeat and tasteful feel and motivate everyone who enters them. The single room was equipped absolutely perfectly and the surroundings and view from this was very beautiful. The cafe and dining room also gave the same impression. I found all the treatments very helpful and held to a high standard due to the professionalism of the physiotherapists and staff. The availability of treatments was excellent. The fitness centre also gave a top impression in terms of its range and equipment. Last but not least, let me highlight the care of MUDr. Nováková and other medical staff, i.e. nurses and orderlies, who took care of us all in the best possible way, both professionally and humanly.
