Specifics of the care provided:

The proctology clinic specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the rectum and large bowel.

  • Conditions and complaints treated:haemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, inflammation, rectal prolapse, pilonidal sinus, general rectal problems and post-operative check-ups.
  • Outpatient procedures: minorsurgical procedures and procedures involving the rectum (e.g. treatment of haemorrhoids using the Barron ligation technique, removal of polyps or fistula irrigation).
  • Surgical care:

       - Haemorrhoid surgery: laser (LHP), conventional and stapler procedures.
       - Modern laser surgery: pilonidal sinus (SiLAC), fistulae (FiLAC) and anal fissures (LAFiP)

  • Follow-up care: following surgery, patients are monitored on a long-term basis at our clinic.
