Thanks to the entry fee and sponsor donations, the amount of 66 000 CZK was raised for the Charity Beroun. This amount will be invested to support mainly clients who suffer from various forms of dementia.
"I am very pleased with the support Charity Beroun receives every year from AKESO Holding, which includes the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and the Hořovice Hospital. On behalf of our organization I would like to thank you very much for this support," said the director of Charity Beroun Ing. Petr Horák.
Although the weather was not in favour of the run, more than 100 runners turned up. The whole afternoon event was dedicated to sports and sporting activities, from the performance of the small majorettes Berounská hvězdičky, through the Super Kruháč and the Family Run, to the start of the Charity Run itself. It was 3.7 km long. Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and Hořovice Hospital supported the event not only with the financial amount of 20 000 CZK, but also with the participation of our employees in the run itself.
"I participate in every Charity Run, so I couldn't miss this year. Unfortunately, the weather was not favourable and I was not able to beat my personal record from last year. But I believe that next year's edition will be better for me. The track was very well prepared and the atmosphere at the start was great," praised Mr. Petr from the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun.
