UPDATE: Restrictions set at Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital

• Outpatient clinics and outpatient examinations

We ask patients who are booked in for an outpatient appointment to really consider their visit.

Patients who are suffering from symptoms of febrile illness or cough or have been in contact with such people in the last 14 days are asked not to go to hospital and to contact their GP or 112, 1212 directly. And skip the visit to the outpatient clinic.

Patients who need to write a prescription or come for a regular check-up are asked to contact their GP first by phone on 144 99 or 311 745 272 instead of visiting the outpatient clinic. You may be rescheduled for another appointment as agreed with the attending physician.

• All treatments and outpatient appointments are cancelled for outpatients of the rehabilitation centre until further notice.

At the same time, public access to our hospital cafeteria is prohibited.

• Surgical procedures are restricted in accordance with government and Ministry of Health decisions.

If you are going for surgery, please pay close attention to your medical history - i.e. whether you are suffering from a febrile illness, cough or other flu-like symptoms. If you have seen someone suffering from these symptoms in the last 14 days or if you are abroad, please telephone the doctor who indicated the operation.

• Visiting patients is prohibited.

For the protection of our patients and staff, please note that on arrival at the hospital you will be asked to explain the reasons for your visit. Your body temperature will be taken and basic epidemiological data will be collected.

- If you are bringing personal belongings for a patient of our hospital, please place these belongings in a bag/box/box with the patient's name and the department where they are admitted legible. Hand these items to a member of staff on entering the premises and he/she will arrange for them to be handed over.

- Patient escorts for elective surgeries are requested to say goodbye before entering the premises.

- When picking up a patient after surgery or discharging them, please wait outside the hospital grounds, the discharged patient will be brought to you by the medical staff.

Please also note that bus routes "A" and "H" will not be coming to the hospital. The last stop is Beroun, Prof. Veselého (at the lower parking lot). The bus stop will be restored as soon as the ban on visitors to our hospital is over.
