The main topic of the event, which was supposed to take place last year but was postponed to November this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, was functional diagnostics and therapy of vertebrogenic disorders. "It is a topic that concerns every rehabilitation professional and, in fact, every person. It is about the overall view of a person and the connection of the musculoskeletal system, internal organs and psyche," explains the head of the Rehabilitation Centre, MUDr. Milena Kolářová. She, together with MUDr. Ondřej Horáček, organized the entire conference programme. The event was held under the auspices of the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine ČLS JEP.
We had the honour to welcome Professor Pavel Kolář, who gave a lecture on vertebrogenic spinal disorders and their correction. "I am glad that I can participate in the Beroun rehabilitation day for the umpteenth time. The event is always of great quality and is backed by top experts. This time I got a bigger space. I hope that all participants are satisfied and took away some useful knowledge for discussion," Professor Kolář wished the visitors.
The event aroused great interest among experts and its capacity was hopelessly full. The total number of participants eventually reached 110. "From my point of view, the event was a success both professionally and in terms of atmosphere and I am looking forward to the next tenth anniversary edition. Of course, I would like to thank our technical background, the management of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and all those who helped us," concludes the headmistress.
