New Year's greetings to employees and patients of our hospitals

1. 1. 2021

New Year's greetings from Sotirios Zavalianis, owner of AKESO holding.

Dear colleagues, employees of the AKESO holding company's healthcare facilities, doctors, nurses, medical and non-medical staff and our patients, throughout 2020 we have been severely tested by the biggest modern crisis of global scale. A medical, economic, social and psychological crisis.

Some of us have lost loved ones in the past year. For many people in our area, the pandemic has brought unprecedented health or livelihood difficulties. It has had a more or less severe psychological impact on all of us.

However, I also see the positives that this year has brought. In most of our employees, I have discovered hitherto unsuspected possibilities, enormous loyalty, creativity, dedication and courage in overcoming difficult challenges. I am immensely proud of them and their work.

On behalf of myself and all of AKESO, I can assure you all that we are stronger than ever and that, unlike many who are facing unexpected and serious existential challenges this year, we can continue to offer our employees financial stability, job security, prestigious and socially highly valued jobs, the security of help in times of need, friends, colleagues and even family for life.

To you, the patient, I can guarantee that we will continue to provide the highest level of health care as you have come to expect in our hospitals, with the primary goal of providing it with humanity and responsiveness.

I wish you all robust health and much strength for 2021.

Sotirios Zavalianis
