"We decided to show our hospital to high school students and to show off not only our modern wards but also our equipment," said Nataša Petsini, director of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun.
Nearly two dozen interested students received all the important information about graduates' employment and benefits within the AKESO holding already at the beginning of the meeting. During the visit, the future colleagues could get acquainted with the new equipment and the staff of the individual departments. They were guided through the hospital by the head of physiotherapy, Lucie Lefnerová.
"We were captivated by the pleasant environment, which is fully equipped with the latest technologies. Classmates who have already had practice here praised the hospital. And we already know why. We liked the modern facilities of the hospital, the pleasant environment, the variety of rehabilitation resources and much more. We also admire the equipped patient rooms and the beautiful view of the whole Beroun," said the physiotherapy students from the Pilsen faculty.
"After the tour of the hospital I was literally delighted. Often people think that a hospital environment is a place of depression, but this is definitely not the case here. I also really liked the physical therapy equipment and the friendly staff. Overall, I liked the open day very much and it definitely motivated me to further my studies," said Terezie Killichová, a student at CTU, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering.
After the tour of the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital, an exclusive tour of Karlštejn Castle was prepared for the students.
"Due to the great interest in the hospital tour, we will definitely continue to organize similar events across health disciplines," said Lucie Lišková, PR and Community Manager.
