"We have set up a mobile vaccination team consisting of a doctor, a nurse and an administrative worker at the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital. Today, this team started vaccinating the residents with the COVID-19 vaccine in the Home in Zahradách in Zdice," described František Vlček, MD, Director for Processes, Quality and Efficiency at AKESO holding a.s.

"Today 80 people from the home for the elderly in Zdice were vaccinated. During the following days we expect to vaccinate another 170 persons from social care homes and homes for the elderly in the Beroun district," informed Marek Janka , MD, doctor of the vaccination team. "All these persons fall into the group of people who have been identified as the most at risk, so their vaccination against COVID-19 is a priority. On behalf of our mobile team, I would like to thank the staff of the Home in the Gardens for their excellent on-site cooperation, organization and preparation, which enabled us to make the whole process run smoothly," the doctor added.

Vaccination centres for the public

The vaccination centres for the public at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and the Hořovice Hospital will be opened following the vaccine delivery schedule. At the moment, both hospitals are vaccinating the health care workers of their facilities as well as the health care workers of neighbouring outpatient clinics, social services and retirement homes.
