We're relaxing the rules for entering the hospital

3. 3. 2022

Based on the current epidemiological situation related to COVID-19, we are adjusting the hygiene and epidemiological regime in our hospital.

Entrance to the hospital

The triage cell at the gatehouse is closed.

Patient testing

A person scheduled for an arthroscopic procedure must have a negative SARS CoV-2 antigen test prior to the procedure. The test will be performed approximately half an hour before entering the hospital in the test cell located in the RNB parking lot. The cell is open on weekdays only. Exceptions are persons who have a negative RT-PCR no more than 72 hours old or a POC antigen test no more than 24 hours old. They present proof of the negative result to the nurse in the admitting clinic.

Patient visits

Patient visits to the hospital are still allowed only with the prior approval of the ward manager. However, the visit does not have to be accompanied by a negative SARS CoV-2 test.

The use of respirators in all indoor areas of the hospital remains mandatory.
