Presentation of the concept of development of the rehabilitation workplace of the Beroun Hospital at the XVIIth Congress of the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine in Luhačovice

The XVIIth Congress of the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine took place in Luhačovice on 14th and 15th May 2010. Beroun Hospital was represented by prim. MUDr. Jan Calta, who presented the project of rehabilitation care in the Beroun Hospital in the section dedicated to poster presentations.

The poster was prepared from information about the current state of the inpatient department of physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine, presenting insights and plans for the final design of the future department, including a project for the adaptation of the hospital park with a rehabilitation zone for training of everyday movement activities. The poster aroused great interest of the attendees, especially with its state-of-the-art elements, bringing this planned workplace closer to the standard of European rehabilitation workplaces - a full-fledged occupational therapy workplace, sufficient spaces for individual kinesiotherapy and outdoor spaces for training of everyday movement activities according to the concept of Prof. Janda and Dr. Calta.
