The Beroun Hospital, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine, is opening a specialized "Outpatient Clinic for Movement System Medicine" from May 2012.

Activities of the outpatient clinic: the clinic specializes in the diagnosis and therapy of the musculoskeletal system, including its nervous control and connection to the functions of internal organs (vertebro-visceral and viscero-vertebral relationships). It specialises not only in diseases of the locomotor system (bones, tendons and their control) but also in the manifestations of internal diseases in the locomotor system. It collaborates mainly with specialists in the fields of neurology, orthopaedics and internal medicine. It provides continuous monitoring of patients after operations on the locomotive system, especially patients of the Arthroscopic Centre of Beroun Hospital.
It is ready to provide specialized care for all patients with spine and limb joints, especially weight-bearing joints (hip, knee).
It is possible to make an appointment directly to the outpatient clinic without referral from general practitioners and doctors of other specialties, including check-ups for patients of the Arthroscopy Centre of Beroun Hospital.
