Obtaining accreditation is a testament to the quality of the hospital's work

On 11 December, the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital was one of the healthcare facilities that successfully passed the demanding accreditation audit according to the Joint Accreditation Commission (JAC) of the Czech Republic. Preparing for the accreditation investigation is not easy, the general public may not be aware that this process affects all areas of the hospital's operation - from nursing and medical care through medical documentation, technical equipment, environmental hygiene, functionality of security systems, staffing, catering, etc. The Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital met the requirements of the SAK accreditation standards very well and thus received an award for quality and safe work in accordance with the rules set out in the increasingly stringent legislation. Preparation for the accreditation survey meant very demanding work for all hospital staff for many months. Achieving accreditation is a joyous occasion for all, but also a great challenge. It must be remembered that the award of accreditation is not the end of the story, but a continuous process aimed at maintaining a high level of quality and patient safety. However, this award is certainly the best signal to all patients that they will receive the best care at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun according to the most modern findings of today's medicine.
