Nurses' Day

In our hospital, we have not forgotten the nurses, orderlies and nursing assistants. Today we celebrated their holiday. After lunch, the nurses and orderlies began to meet in the hospital conference room. There were several news items waiting for them. In addition to the traditional make-up artist and great refreshments, we enriched the program with creative workshops and card interpretation.

Cotton cushions were available throughout the afternoon for the nurses to colour as they wished. The most popular designs were the cat and the dream catcher, but also mandalas of all colours and sizes. Another option was to make a basket out of pedigree. After the initial solitary attempts, this corner was soon full as well.

Perhaps the biggest interest was in the card interpretation. The fortune teller didn't stop for a moment. "I'm surprised how it fits, the fortune teller guessed my past and I believe the future will work out just like the cards" smiled the nurse who had just come out from the fortune teller.

This year's meeting was attended by more than 120 colleagues from our hospital. We can say that all respondents share the opinion of Monika Zbuzkova from the gastroenterology department "I really like this year's meeting, it is different mainly because of how much there is to create.
