The Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital is nicer and more pleasant again. The cars have disappeared from its premises. Hundreds of them used to come to the hospital every day, unfortunately also quite a few whose drivers did not respect the ban that has been in force for several years. Now everything is solved. After a number of problems, caused mainly by lengthy administrative procedures, a beautiful modern car park has recently been opened under the hospital, with a capacity of 268 vehicles. 12 spaces are reserved for the disabled, and 3 spaces for mothers with prams. The first hour of parking costs 10 CZK, each additional hour costs 20 CZK.
It is now possible to enter the hospital free of charge for only 20 minutes, which is sufficient time to drop off or pick up a patient. Longer delays in the hospital grounds are already charged. The only exception is for ZTP and ZTP/P card holders, who can stay on the hospital premises for 4 hours. However, their vehicle must have special marking No. 07 and they must show their ID at the reception desk.
The new car park under the hospital, which is being continuously fenced off and is already monitored by CCTV, is, like the whole hospital, comfortable. The planting of mature acacia trees, hornbeams, maples and even a winter oak towards the nearby woods has managed to make the parking area a pleasant place.
