The students chose Beroun on the recommendation of Pharmacy Management, which organised their visit to the Czech Republic. The foreign delegation was surprised not only by the high standard of the Beroun hospital and the newly renovated modern premises, but also by the pleasant environment and professional staff.

"We started the meeting at our headquarters, where we introduced ourselves to each other and discussed the history of the Beroun hospital and the situation of the healthcare system in the Czech Republic. Then we went to see the individual departments of the rehabilitation centre," describes the course of the foreign visit MUDr. Jan Calta, director of the Beroun rehabilitation centre.

The students from Kazakhstan were interested in the organizational scheme of the hospital, the productivity of work and the friendliness of doctors and nursing staff to patients and other experiences from the operation of the Beroun hospital. In addition, they also learned about the basic features of the Czech health care system, whose high level in Beroun pleasantly surprised them.
