Why did you decide to go for the antigen test?
I am a proponent of universal testing for several reasons. The more people who go for these tests, the higher the chance of catching positive asymptomatic people. With this testing and its results, that ugly number that gets us banned from celebrating Christmas as we are accustomed to can go down.
Another reason is that I want to be responsible to those around me, both professionally and, more importantly, to my entire family. Last week my older son and his wife got tested and today my younger son got tested because we want to visit our parents.
There are a lot of opinions on whether it makes sense to take the COVID-19 test, so for you, definitely yes?
Absolutely. Getting tested makes sense, it's one way to beat the pandemic. I would encourage anyone who can to come along, and maybe then we can enjoy the baby Jesus.
It is recommended that as part of the universal testing, the antigen test be repeated after about 5 days.
Sure. I'm sure my family and I will repeat the test at the recommended intervals.
