Doctors of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun gathered on 21 November in the early evening in the sports facility EDEN in Beroun for a very pleasant informal meeting, associated with a badminton tournament. 14 players signed up to play with a feathered ball, playing in two-person teams. One player, who had to leave, was spontaneously replaced by the owner of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun ing. Sotirios Zavalianis, who, like everyone else, took up the game with great commitment. Those who did not play became an appreciative audience. The tournament was won by the head of the Rehabilitation Centre, MUDr. O. Horacek, together with the internist, MUDr. H. Sanitrova. The second place was taken by MUDr. D. Bubnová from the Rehabilitation Centre and R. Zajacová from the Internal Medicine Department, the third place went to a two-member team of MUDr. D. Jenča from the Internal Medicine Department and MUDr. M. Břízová from the Rehabilitation Centre. The pairs were drawn, so their preparation in advance was impossible, yet many of them performed very well indeed. This event will definitely be repeated due to its great success.
