The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine at Beroun Hospital offers an interesting therapy for alginic conditions - neck, head and shoulder pain, as well as help with vertebrogenic problems, but also with the regeneration of the body after injuries, alleviation of problems with insomnia, fatigue syndrome, etc., using the Ceragem massage couch.
The recliner combines traditional natural methods of the Far East with 21st century technologies. The massage projector of the recliner is made of jade, a stone considered in Chinese medicine to have healing properties. Here, it is used to stimulate the Qi or life energy in the human body.
The advantage of the lounger is the simultaneous application of heat, pressure massage and acupressure. The client lies on their back and the jade rollers from below massage the muscles along the spine, increasing mobility to extension. The spine is stretched and gently mobilised. The heat leads to warming and relaxation of the muscles. Pressure massage also acts on acupressure points, especially the bladder pathway, which is used to treat vertebrogenic problems. Heat combined with massage has a beneficial effect on physical and mental relaxation.
This therapy is not covered by health insurance companies. For one 40-minute application you will pay 120 CZK, if you buy five applications at once you will pay 500 CZK and if you subscribe for ten applications you will pay 1000 CZK.
