For the third year already, our nurse Eliška Olšiaková has been trying to make the patients of the aftercare department happy. We are very happy that with your help she succeeds. "Last Christmas I met with a really big dose of solidarity, enthusiasm and support in my Christmas message, so I hope so this time too," confides Eliška, adding: "Many of our sick grandfathers and grandmothers have to spend the whole Christmas in hospital. They are bedridden and unfortunately many of them are completely cut off from their families. This period is very mentally demanding for the elderly and I am of the opinion that even the mere thought of them in the form of a small gift on Christmas Eve makes them very happy."
In case you are interested in helping out, this year there is a collection for gifts in the form of small cuddly key chains (see gallery below). You can also definitely make our patients' rooms/doors happy with Christmas decorations or directly finished decorations. Eliška will not refuse help in the form of bags or wrapping paper with Christmas motifs for wrapping presents.
The collection has already started and will last until December 20, 2019.
You can send gifts or decorations by post to the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun, password Christmas for ONP, Prof. Veselého 493, 266 56 Beroun, or leave the package at the hospital's reception. If you are from the area and have Facebook, you can contact Eliska and hand over the package in person.
