Beroun Rehabilitation Day for the fifth time
There is a great interest in this professional conference, because the quality of its programme is always at a really high level. "This year's main topic is pelvic floor issues from a multidisciplinary perspective. Most of the lectures are focused on the therapy of pelvic floor and pelvic disorders, with an emphasis on rehabilitation procedures," said Ondřej Horáček, M.D., Ph.D., the head of the Rehabilitation Centre. This year, MUDr. Horáček was elected by a high number of votes to the committee of the professional scientific society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine (SRFM) at the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně, whose aim is, among other things, to ensure quality education and transfer of new knowledge and experience to professionals involved in the rehabilitation process. "The committee was selected from 262 members of the society who received some votes and of course I was honoured by the high number of votes I received. In any case, I see my election to the SRFM committee as a success of the whole Rehabilitation Centre of the Beroun Hospital, an appreciation of its good name and the work of all those who care for patients here", MUDr. Horáček told us and added that they obviously want to continue organizing similar educational conferences in the future. This year the capacity of the hall was filled earlier than expected. However, this also undoubtedly testifies to the quality and excellent reputation of the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital.
