Arthroscopy centre has its 20,000th patient

The arthroscopy centre in the Beroun hospital, opened in the summer of 2008, has gained a very good reputation during its operation and is sought after by patients from all over the country. It performs a wide range of arthroscopic procedures, including complex and reconstructive ones, has excellent equipment, uses the most modern, mostly absorbable material that integrates into the bones and does not put any further strain on the body. Very crucial and highly appreciated by patients is the professional, humane and helpful approach of experienced surgeons, anaesthesiologists and all other medical staff.

On 10 July, we also heard complimentary words, full of superlatives about the hospital equipment and the local care, from Věra Pletichová from Seménkovice. Thanks to the fact that she chose the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and its Arthroscopy Centre for an arthroscopic procedure on her knee, specifically on her meniscus, she became the 20 000th patient who was operated here. Those of us who came to tell her and give her flowers couldn't believe that this smiling, sweet mother of a 17-year-old daughter, working as a cook in Postoloprty, was only a few hours after the surgery. She said goodbye to us, saying that if she ever needed it again, she would only come to the hospital in Beroun. Of course, we prefer not to wish her that, but her words made everyone happy.
