The Arthroscopy Centre of the Beroun Hospital, which performs a wide range of arthroscopic procedures, including complex and reconstructive ones, performed its 10,000th operation on 12 September since its full operation began in January 2009. The jubilee patient was 28-year-old Veronika Löblová from Prague, who works as a paramedic.High-quality equipment, with a highly qualified team of orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthetists and other medical staff, is bringing more and more patients to the centre, not only from the hospital's catchment area, but gradually - as statistics show - from virtually all over the Czech Republic. But statistical figures are certainly not everything. The most important thing is patient satisfaction, positive feedback and thanks for the care that the hospital receives. This is certainly due to the fact that the Arthroscopy Centre of the Beroun Hospital has truly comprehensive care and a number of advantages that not everywhere can offer. The most important is the connection to the hospital's Rehabilitation Center, thanks to which all patients of the Arthroscopy Center receive targeted physiotherapy instruction before and a few hours after the procedure, and those who have undergone arthroscopic reconstructive surgery or other more complex procedures also receive high-quality inpatient early medical rehabilitation.
