The Beroun Rehabilitation Day, organized by the Rehabilitation Centre of the Beroun Hospital in cooperation with the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine of the J. E. Purkyně Society, was held in the Beroun Grand Hotel for the second time. Just like last year, there was a great interest in this educational event, which was evaluated by the ČLK and UNIFY credit points. 230 participants came to Beroun from different parts of the country, unfortunately, the capacity of the hall did not allow to accept all the applications.
Doctors, physiotherapists and nurses were welcomed to the conference by the director of the Rehabilitation Centre of the Beroun Hospital, MUDr. Jan Calta, and the professional guarantor of the conference, the head of the centre, MUDr. Ondřej Horáček, then introduced the programme and presented some organizational matters. And then the carousel of very interesting, high-quality and beneficial lectures devoted to the topic of neurorehabilitation, the main theme of this year's conference, started. Not only new knowledge, experience from different departments, but also informal exchange of views on the issues of the field, all this was highly appreciated by the participants, with the fact that this is an excellent achievement of the Rehabilitation Centre of Beroun Hospital, which prepared this event for the second time. And it will definitely not be the last - it will become an annual tradition.
The Beroun Rehabilitation Centre already has a very good reputation in its field, extending beyond the borders of the region. This is proven by hundreds of satisfied patients who seek it out, even from distant parts of the country. The fact that it also takes care of education in this field is very gratifying, although it is quite challenging to organize such a large event. The interest of the participants and the words of praise are certainly a beautiful reward.
