Let's take care of our brains in the Brain 3P programme

Prevention, Help, Care or Brain 3P is a public awareness event that will be presented at the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital on Tuesday, 26 September at 9 am.

Visitors to the hospital will have a unique opportunity to meet with a peer consultant who will inform them about the importance of caring for a person after brain injury and starting early and intensive rehabilitation. Because this is the only way to successfully return to normal life as much as possible.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to:

  • To determine their risk of stroke, including blood pressure measurements.
  • To learn about and try out disability aids
  • Attempt to assemble an anatomical model of the brain into the correct shape

All this in cooperation with the Association of Czech Medics. The programme is designed for all ages, families with children, primary school pupils, secondary and university students and seniors.

This campaign is aimed at reducing the risk of brain injury, referrals in the acute phase of injury and dealing with the consequences of brain injury and is part of a project supported by the Health Programme from the EEA Grants 2014 -2021.
