The celebration of this holiday took place one day in advance on Friday 11 May in the conference hall of the hospital. The nurses were not only offered delicious refreshments, but also the opportunity to have their make-up done by professional beauticians or to have their weight, BMI index, etc. checked (see photo).
"This holiday is a reminder of the demanding nature of this profession. There is no platitude that the nursing profession is a mission. I am deeply convinced that this is true for the vast majority of our nurses," said Ilona Kupková, head nurse of RN Beroun, who on behalf of the hospital director warmly congratulated the nurses present. "Thank you all for your professionalism, dedication and work commitment, which you often perform even in difficult situations. I appreciate not only your expertise and experience, but also the much needed empathy and vigour with which you handle your daily duties," said the head nurse of Beroun to her colleagues.
