He was invited for an informal visit by the owner of the hospitals Ing. Sotirios Zavalianis, who informed the guest about the offer and possibilities of medical care provided by both hospitals. The visit also included a tour of the most important departments of the Beroun and Hořovice hospitals. In Hořovice, he had the opportunity to see the new nursery for the children of the employees or the prepared premises where the Chronic Resuscitation and Intensive Care Unit for Children (OCHRIP) is to operate from April. In the Beroun hospital, the ambassador had the opportunity to get acquainted with the functioning of the inpatient department of the Rehabilitation Centre during his two-hour visit. He also visited the modern hydrotherapy section, the gym and the Aftercare Department.
Mr. Ambassador in an interview with Ing. Zavalianis and the members of the management of the Beroun hospital, he was informed about the amount of invested capital and further plans for the development of the hospital. Ambassador Theocharous highly appreciated the high standard of both hospitals and the work of the Czech doctors and non-medical staff. He expressed his appreciation for the results achieved and wished the hospitals and their staff further success.
