Our hospitals are ready to hospitalize patients with COVID-19

We now have beds for patients with COVID-19 infection in the Hořovice Hospital and in the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. These beds are fully equipped with instrumentation and the ARO beds at the Hořovice Hospital are also equipped with artificial pulmonary ventilation.

"We are reaching the stage where we have to take care of positive patients on our own, even patients with a severe course of the disease. I don't believe that translations to higher centres are realistic. We are already prepared for this situation. We have everything we need for this: modern equipment, excellent staff and bed capacity," said Sotirios Zavalianis, the hospitals owner. "We now have a number of beds that is sufficient for the current situation, but we are ready to react to further developments and increase the capacity of covid beds."
