The opening ceremony of the new, beautiful, modern and well-equipped building of the Rehabilitation Centre in the Beroun Hospital and the subsequent varied programme for all the visitors was the best moment to do something meritorious. It was nothing complicated. The visitors had the opportunity to buy a lottery ticket worth 100 CZK and thus support the cooperating foundation Corpus Egens, whose basic mission is to improve the environment for the treatment of patients, especially cancer patients. Not everywhere you will find the comfort and equipment in health care facilities like in the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. The proceeds from the sale of 28 500 CZK tickets were therefore directed to good causes. But that was not all! One donor's lot was drawn before Karel Gott's performance and the winners - Jana and Radek Medal from Králův Dvůr - will go with their little daughter Eliska on 14 September for an eleven-day trip with half-board to the Limanaki Beach Hotel in Cyprus. When they found out, they were very happy - they moved from Decin in the spring and, as they said, winning the trip was a very nice welcome to their new home.
