Voices of the Bonbon Choir were heard in the aftercare ward

The choir performed Christmas carols by world-famous authors and original works by choirmaster Mgr. Bohumila Vokáčová. The choir was accompanied by Mrs. Marcela Šlosarová on the accordion throughout the performance. "I thank the whole choir for the wonderful performance they prepared for us, who had to stay in the hospital over the holidays," said Marie Menclová, a patient of the ward.

More than 15 patients, who unfortunately, due to their health condition, had to be hospitalized over the Christmas holidays, gathered in the ward gym.

"We were very happy to make our patients' festive time in hospital more enjoyable. We regularly prepare cultural programmes in our ward to lift our patients' spirits and take their minds off their health problems. The performance of the Bonbon Choir was amazing and was enjoyed by us health care professionals who are at work during the holidays," said Martina Bílá, the ward's station nurse.

The choir liked the atmosphere on the ward so much that its members promised to organise another concert for the patients at Easter time.
