Basic characteristics, activities, equipment and staffing of the Rehabilitation Centre RN Beroun:
- Our rehabilitation centre provides "early medical rehabilitation" - our primary task is to take patients from the acute care ward after their health condition has been stabilized.
- The capacity of the centre is 150 early rehabilitation beds.
- We provide all physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatments.
- Lengths of stay at the centre are most often around 3 weeks for neurological, trauma and orthopaedic patients and after spinal surgery. For patients after arthroscopies, stays are shorter
- Staffing: we have 14 doctors, 50 physiotherapists and occupational therapists, a clinical speech therapist, a psychologist and a prosthetist, a social worker.

Balancetrainer), stability platform, walking bars, traction tables, electrotherapy devices (electroanalgesia, electrostimulation), therapeutic ultrasound, laser, magnetotherapy devices, swelling therapy devices (pneuven, extremiter), shock wave, robotic arm (Gloreha device).
- Large multifunctional hall: there are fitness machines - David and Hur computer-controlled system, treadmills, special Space - curle device, for training orientation in space and improving coordination
- In the occupational therapy section there are also: a training kitchen, a training bathroom, a workshop for handicraft activities, a computer with a program for training cognitive functions, aids for training fine motor skills.
- Hydrotherapy section: 2 swimming pools, water walkway with hydraulic bottom, multifunctional baths for underwater massage, full-body whirlpools, bubble baths, as well as whirlpools for upper and lower limbs. Sauna. Massage therapists' rooms.
- Large gym for various forms of group therapeutic physical education.
