Representatives of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun were recently invited to a very nice event - the evaluation ceremony of the campaign of our biggest foundation Konta Bariéry - Help with Humour. Last year, the campaign raised almost 19 million crowns. In the café of the Neoluxor bookstore in Prague, they met with several people without whom this campaign would certainly not have been so successful - the Foundation's director Božena Jirků and some of her colleagues, actors Jiří Lábus, Petr Čtvrtníček and Jan Přeučil, as well as representatives of the biggest partners of this event, thanks to whom the red noses were sold for more than CZK 3 million. The funds raised through this project will be used to the fullest among organisations providing services to people with disabilities. "We were really very happy that the idea - to contribute to a good cause by purchasing 500 red noses, i.e. 25 000 CZK, for the Christmas party of the employees of the Beroun and Hořovice hospitals was appreciated by Kont Bariéry. And of course, we were also very pleased with the words of the director of the foundation, Božena Jirků, who not only thanked us, but reminded everyone present that our hospital is known and that its good reputation is spreading rapidly," were the first reactions after the event in Prague. The idea with the noses came about while preparing a very nice report about the Beroun hospital and especially the Rehabilitation Centre in the January issue of the magazine Můžeš, published by the Association of Friends of Konta Bariéry. Quickly and quite spontaneously, in fact, a while after we had a chat with their editor. Already then, we also started thinking that it shouldn't be the first and last time, though. Yes, we want to continue helping the Barrier Account, and with the director of the B. Jirků, we have already tentatively agreed on further cooperation with the Beroun hospital. It has not yet taken a concrete form, although we have some ideas. But we already know one thing - the red clown noses will be there again this year! The enthusiasm, enthusiasm, extraordinary humanity and kindness of the people around Konta Bariéry, with whom we spent a very pleasant evening, is truly contagious and inspiring. The most important thing, of course, is that the owner of the hospital ing. Sotirios Zavalianis , just like last year, is very supportive of helping Konto Bariéry. We will be really happy to help and a little humour certainly doesn't hurt!
