Beroun Rehabilitation Day

On 30 October, the Rehabilitation Centre Beroun together with the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine of the Czech Medical Society J. E. Purkyně organized the third professional conference "Beroun Rehabilitation Day", which has become a tradition. The main topic of this educational event, organized according to the Czech Medical Chamber's Statutory Regulation No. 16, valued with ČLK and UNIFY credit points, was the shoulder and hip joint.

240 participants gathered in the Grand Hotel in Beroun to listen to a number of interesting reports - both from doctors and physiotherapists of the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and from other experts - mainly orthopaedists and rehabilitation doctors - from other departments in the Czech Republic. Among the lecturers were also well-known personalities - Prof. Pavel Kolář, Head of the Rehabilitation Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Motol, and Prof. Tomáš Trč, Head of the Orthopaedic Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Motol. Both of these experts are often invited to foreign conferences and we were pleased that they accepted our invitation to our conference. As expected, their lectures at the Beroun Rehabilitation Day were also among the professional highlights of the conference.

As in previous years, the conference participants from various health care institutions appreciated a lot of new interesting information as well as the opportunity for informal exchange of opinions and experiences. The rich discussion after the individual lectures confirmed that the participants were interested in the programme.
It is very gratifying and beneficial that the Rehabilitation Centre of the Beroun Hospital not only takes good care of patients, but also provides the necessary education in the field in which Beroun is now truly renowned - both among professionals and patients.
