The meeting of this committee is always held at a different rehabilitation facility and on 13 November 2019, this meeting was hosted by the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and the head of the Rehabilitation Centre of Jan Calta, MUDr. Ondřej Horáček.
The committee, whose members are mostly chiefs of major Czech rehabilitation centres, had quite a lot to discuss. "The main item on the agenda was information about the preparation of the national congress of the RFM Society in May 2020 in Luhačovice and information about the elections to the committee of the Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, which will take place a month after the national congress. The individual committees reported on their activities, as well as on the activities of working groups and international organizations. It is certainly worth mentioning the information of the Working Group for the Solution of Aftercare in Medical Rehabilitation, when the meeting of the representatives of the Working Group with the Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch was reported. At the meeting with the Minister, the current organisation of rehabilitation care in the Czech Republic was discussed, as well as the role of the rehabilitation physician in the whole system and the need to develop an indication list for follow-up rehabilitation care (Rehabilitation Institutes and Specialist Treatment Institutes) was also emphasised," informed Chief Medical Officer Ondřej Horáček about the content of the meeting.
