Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun can provide the following sonograms:
- abdominal organs: diaphragm, liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas, spleen and retroperitoneal organs, including lymph nodes, pericecal landscape.
- kidneys and surroundings, urinary tract, bladder (including functional examination of its capacity), small pelvic area: uterus and adnexa in women and prostate in men vascular structures of the abdomen: v.portae, abd. aorta and other large abdominal vessels including renal arteries
- soft tissues of the neck: thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, nodes
- soft tissues: skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, tendons and joints, extent and nature of haematomas, development of abscesses, tumours
- scrotum: testicles, epididymis, integuments
- carotid and peripheral vessels: arteries and veins of the upper and lower limbs
- the presence of free or encapsulated fluid
- vascularization, which is necessary to determine the etiology of vascular structures, to determine the etiology of structural or focal changes, enlarged nodes, to diagnose thyroid hyperfunction, etc.
